Nurit's Necklace
Environment-friendly jewelery is great. This is one of my favorite necklaces I made using tree-free paper which is made from various natural materials like dried flower petals and orange peel.

This multi-chain necklace is one of my favorites. I love how the dark metal creates a tough edge, it makes me feel more daring when I wear it!

I like objects that have a "soul", or a history. That are totally unique, not necessarily expensive. So I ended up doing my choker myself.

In my jewelry box is a necklace I made myself out of vintage pieces. I make old pieces like new again.

I collect vintage jewelry and I have always admired the artistry of vintage pins. I just never seemed to find the right outfit to wear them with. A couple years ago I was invited to a Gen Art party for emerging designers and I wanted to wear something spectacular. I searched my jewel box, and my mom's, and couldn't find one that was quite spectacular enough. I decided to make a new one and this necklace was made on the day of the party. My best pieces are what I see as a fusion of art and fashion with an element of surprise.

One of my favorite pendants is on a necklace I made from my Nature's Presence Collection using a beautiful handblown hollow glass focal bead pendant created by glass artisan Harold Williams Cooney. He does wonderful work and that is why his beads are focal points for most of the pieces in the collection at JuliaBristowJewelry.com.

I have several of these precious tag necklaces. I sometimes wear them alone or I layer them for a rainbow of color. This store will do custom colors too in this style. I wear it with my T-shirts and jeans, as well as when I go out in my strapless dress. I bought it online at alittleeyecndy.com.

I collect vintage jewelry and I have always admired the artistry of vintage pins. I just never seemed to find the right outfit to wear them with. I also enjoy making beaded jewelry. Eventually I decided to combine my two loves and now I make beaded necklaces that feature a vintage pin as the pendant. This necklace is made from a vintage Coro pin in the shape of a lily. It has an unusual chain tassel hanging from the bottom. I like wearing unique jewelry and each necklace I make is one of a kind.
